Recently the first completely renewed High Impingement cooling tunnel was put into operation, for cooling of so-called rolled wafers for a major confectionery manufacturer. This standardized design was developed in close collaboration with Orangeworks, who also took care of the manufacturing and installation. The new High Impingement cooling tunnel can be equipped with all common open and closed, plastic and stainless steel conveyor belts. Characteristic features of the new design are: unprecedented low energy consumption, modular construction, compact design with minimal foot print, free product access via hinged covers and fully cleanable.
